Short answer
Phase 1 of gout-care is stateless. There are no accounts, no lab uploads, no chat, no comments, and no saved health profile.
You can read pages, print worksheets, download worksheets, and leave without telling the site who you are.
What the site does not collect
gout-care does not collect:
- your name
- your email address unless you choose to email feedback
- your labs
- your medication list
- your supplement list
- your flare history
- your worksheet answers
- your location as a health record
- an account profile
- chat transcripts
The worksheets are ordinary files. If you print one, save it to your own cloud drive, or paste it into an AI tool you choose, that storage happens outside gout-care.
Analytics
gout-care uses Google Analytics installed through Cloudflare to understand aggregate site use: which pages people read, which worksheets get downloaded, which routes are useful, and which outside source links people click.
The analytics goal is product feedback, not surveillance. We need to know whether people are finding the flare guide, learning pages, tools, and source trails. We do not need a personal health record to learn that.
Analytics may use Google and Cloudflare infrastructure. The data is used to understand site trends, not to build a gout health record or identify individual readers.
Tracked events may include:
- page views
- scroll depth
- triage-path clicks
- worksheet downloads
- feedback-link clicks
- outbound source clicks
- outbound product or reference clicks
Events should not include worksheet answers, health details, names, email addresses, lab values, or medication details.
Feedback email
If you email feedback, your email is handled like normal email. That means the message may include whatever you choose to write.
Useful feedback does not require private medical detail. The best version is usually:
- the page
- the sentence or section
- what was confusing, missing, too timid, or too vague
- what action or explanation would have helped
Do not send lab reports, medical-record files, photos, or private identifiers unless you intentionally choose to do that through email.
External links
gout-care links to outside sites, including research-source pages, guideline pages, product pages, and public references.
When you leave gout-care, the other site has its own privacy practices. gout-care does not control those sites.
Products and affiliate links
If gout-care uses an affiliate link, it should be labeled before the click.
Affiliate status does not decide whether something belongs on the site. Product placement should depend on the job, evidence tier, active ingredient or feature, quality proof, fit check, and tracking signal.
Future features
Future phases may include chat, accounts, lab upload, personalization, or research opt-in features.
Those are not Phase 1 features. They require a separate privacy design, consent flow, data-rights review, and a plain-language update before launch.
